WS Rural Contracting is a family-run rural contracting business based in Gungal, NSW, led by William Stair and Sophie Bates. Backed by generations of farming experience, we deliver practical, reliable services across rural, residential and commercial projects, big and small.
Mount Fern, Will’s family property, has been in his family since 1894. Its history has shaped our connection to the land, our work ethic and the values behind WS Rural.
Built on a shared passion for rural life and the dream of doing what we love, we bring generations of knowledge, hard work and reliability to every job. With hands-on experience in rural operations, we understand the importance of quality workmanship and a practical approach, no matter the size of the project.
